Nvidia’s record $57B revenue and upbeat forecast quiets AI bubble talk

What Happened

Nvidia's earnings were dominated by its data center business.

Our Take

$57B is absurd and the data center business carrying 80%+ of that is exactly why everyone's paranoid. But Nvidia's beaten expectations for three straight quarters because demand's actually been constraint-driven, not hype-driven. Real customers (Azure, AWS, Meta) are buying as much as TSMC can deliver.

The honest part? Bubble talk only quiets when revenue clearly outpaces hype. Nvidia's getting there because the TAM for inference is dwarfing training spend now—that's the underrated part of the forecast. More inference means longer customer lock-in, stickier revenue.

The risk isn't Nvidia. It's AMD or some custom silicon eating share by 2027. Until then, Nvidia's basically printing money.

What To Do

If you're building AI applications, stop delaying GPU procurement talks with your cloud provider—spot pricing is about to get worse when demand accelerates.
