They've got the infrastructure, the third-gen chips, the database discounts that make developers cheer. But beating Claude and ChatGPT on agents? That's not a hardware play. That's product differentiation, LLM quality, and developer trust. AWS has zero of those right now.
The cloud giant's still fighting to prove it can compete beyond infrastructure. New announcements won't change that.
