Astropad’s Workbench reimagines remote desktop for AI agents, not IT support

What Happened

Astropad’s Workbench lets users remotely monitor and control AI agents on Mac Minis from iPhone or iPad, with low-latency streaming and mobile access.

Our Take

Here's the thing: most remote desktop tools assume a human's on the other end scrolling. Workbench assumes it's an agent—different constraints entirely. Low-latency streaming for a bot doesn't need to be a full desktop experience.

This is unsexy infrastructure that's actually useful. Not 'AI agents will change everything'—just 'here's the tool to operate them.' Mac Mini cluster for agents is going to become a thing.

What To Do

If you're running AI agents at scale, you need remote operation tooling built for agents, not human IT support—Workbench's model is the template.
