Warren's doing political theater, but she's not wrong. The Pentagon calling Anthropic a "supply-chain risk" is the soft way to blacklist them without saying why. They could've just terminated the contract. Instead, they're issuing a finding that torpedoes Anthropic's other government work. That's retaliation with bureaucratic cover.
Anthropric took DARPA money, so they can't be shocked. But here's the thing: if the Pentagon blacklists companies for unspecified risks, nobody can plan. That's a loyalty test dressed up as security.
Demand specificity. No company can comply with secret criteria.
What To Do
Push back demanding the Pentagon publicly specify supply-chain risks or admit this is a loyalty test.
