Conntour raises $7M from General Catalyst, YC to build an AI search engine for security video systems

↗What Happened
Conntour uses AI models to let security teams query camera feeds using natural language to find any object, person, or situation.
Our Take
This is what actual AI startups look like. No hype. Security teams query camera feeds in plain English, get results. That's it. $7M is fair for that market.
Most AI startups chase headlines (AI search engine! AI video! AI everything). Conntour's boring on purpose. Enterprise B2B video search isn't sexy—it's a real TAM that actually needs solving. Security ops have terabytes of footage they can't search.
Won't trend on HN, will make money.
What To Do
Ignore the noise. Build what enterprises actually pay for.
