↗What Happened
ChatGPT now lets you use voice and text in the same screen, making conversations feel more natural as responses and visuals appear in real time.
Our Take
Look, merged voice-text is just better UX. Real-time visuals + speech = more natural. People'll use it more because it feels less clunky.
This isn't a breakthrough, it's an obvious design move that took OpenAI years to ship. Every other model's gonna copy this in six months because it objectively works.
Voice becomes table stakes instead of differentiator. Good for users. Boring for tech journalism.
What To Do
Audit your voice interface—if it's not real-time with visuals, you're gonna lose users to products that are.
