Anthropic's gotten absurdly good at the story. "We won't work with the Pentagon" gets you app store #1. That's not luck—it's brand discipline. They said no. Anthropic said no. People noticed.

The irony? They're growing faster because they have conviction. OpenAI's hedging every bet (Yes Pentagon, also safety, also ethics) and getting trust from nobody. Conviction scales faster than compromise.
