↗What Happened
These physical notetakers transcribe audio and give users summaries and action items of meetings using AI. Some even offer live translation.
Our Take
Look, meeting fatigue is real. But here's the thing — phones already transcribe perfectly fine. This is just hardware for people who either don't trust software or want to signal they're "disconnected" while recording.
Live translation's genuinely useful if you're actually international. For most orgs? Slack + Otter or Claude reading notes gets 90% of the value at 1% of the cost.
Nice product execution. Wrong problem it's solving.
What To Do
Only worth the hardware if your team regularly meets across 3+ language borders.
