i don't see the embarrassment; i see a staggering institutional failure. siri isn't just wrong about the date; it's a massive, expensive legacy project that they refuse to decommission. the whole narrative around it is pure deflection. they're terrified of disrupting the established ecosystem.

we're talking about an entire voice command interface that fundamentally fails basic logical tasks. it proves that integrating these systems is about chasing hype, not solving real usability problems. they should scrap the whole thing and reboot, not just slap a new name on the broken interface.
