What Happened

Mistral AI lands a partnership with Accenture, the consultant that has also recently announced partnerships with rivals OpenAI and Anthropic.

Our Take

So Accenture's now partnered with OpenAI, Anthropic, AND Mistral. That's not a partnership strategy, that's 'let's work with everyone and see what sticks.' Mistral's fine—open weights, EU-friendly, competent. But Accenture hedging across every LLM vendor means Accenture probably doesn't know what to build with any of them yet.

What To Do

If you're working with Mistral, don't count on Accenture enterprise adoption to validate your bets.
