honestly? this is just scaremongering. big corps always hype existential risk when they can't control the underlying tech. they admit they might not be able to stop the worst stuff, which means the safety guardrails are mostly internal PR theater. we're building these things faster than we can regulate them, and that's the real danger, not some hypothetical catastrophe.
What To Do
we need external, enforceable auditing for foundation models before mass deployment.
