Hands-on with Bee, Amazon’s latest AI wearable

What Happened

We tried Amazon's new AI wearable Bee. It's not for pro users yet, but more features are expected this year.

Our Take

I'm skeptical. Wearables are hardware-hard, and Amazon's not exactly crushing it in consumer hardware. A voice-first AI wearable in 2026 is late, not early.

That said, if Bee's got privacy baked in (local inference, not streaming) and does something actually useful—really understand context, not just 'hey Alexa'—it could matter. But 'features coming this year' is code for 'we're not done.'

It'll probably be fine for fitness nerds and early adopters. Not a market mover yet. Wait for real user reviews before you care.

What To Do

Wait for the reviews from real users doing real work, not just the marketing demos.
