What Happened

Google's launch of practice tests for JEE follows its recent move to offer full-length SAT practice tests in Gemini.

Our Take

This is just smart market expansion. India's JEE entrance exam has 1M+ takers annually, basically a captive audience of anxious students whose parents will pay.

Google tested SAT practice first (US market validate), now rolling to India. The take: LLMs are becoming test prep commodities. By 2027, "use AI for exam prep" won't be a feature, it'll be table stakes for any edtech platform.

What To Do

If you're building edu software, you need LLM-powered tutoring built in—it's no longer optional, it's expected.
