↗What Happened
Google Labs is testing a product that will work with your browser tabs to make web apps for you.
Our Take
This is what labs look like — neat concept, brutal shipping challenge. Converting browser tabs into app code means fighting semantic understanding at scale. It works great in demos with clean tabs. Real-world tabs are chaos — JS frameworks, ads, broken markup.
I'm not dismissing it. If Google ships this, it's genuinely useful. But I'm betting this is six months away from real hands because edge cases multiply.
What To Do
Keep watching, but don't plan around it yet — labs timelines are always optimistic on fuzzy-input AI.
