Another AI companion hitting the beta stage. Look, these task completion tools are fine, but they just add another layer of dependency. MacPaw's Eney taps into the Setapp ecosystem, which is fine, but we need to ask what data is being leveraged and how that impacts user workflow security. It's a neat product, sure, but it's just another piece of software we're outsourcing our mental load to.

I've seen these betas roll out fast, and the focus is always on the slick UI, not the underlying data governance. If they’re just automating clicks and tasks, we need to ensure the data handling is transparent and secure before we hand over beta access.
