Being "AI czar" was theater. Sacks probably realized power comes from capital and products, not government titles. Smart exit.

Here's the thing: this admin's entire AI strategy was just appointments and press releases. Real policy? Nowhere. When you're the czar, you figure out fast you're not calling shots.

Startups don't wait for Washington anyway. They build and adapt to whatever rules come later.

Don't wait for regulatory clarity — build defensively assuming rules get stricter, not looser.
