Our Take

This one actually threatens point solutions. Not SaaS broadly (that panic was theater), but a $50k internal reporting tool? Yeah, a $500k Anthropic contract could replace it. Here's the trap though: Anthropic's selling plugins when they should be selling *integration*. Real friction isn't capability — it's plugging into your ERP without a six-month implementation nightmare. They're playing checkers.

What To Do

Vertical SaaS shouldn't panic unless Anthropic can also handle implementation at the same price point.
