Anthropic launches Cowork, a Claude Desktop agent that works in your files — no coding required

Our Take
Look, the story isn't "Anthropic built a no-code agent"—it's that they built the whole thing with Claude Code in a week and a half. That's recursive competence. They used their tool to build the feature that extends their tool to non-technical people. That's not a product milestone, that's a validation that the tooling has actually compressed development cycles to the point where you can ship complex features in sprint timeframes.
For us building client work, this is the inflection point. If Anthropic's own team is shipping that fast with Claude, the expectation on *our* timeline just changed. You can't bid 4 weeks anymore when the vendor just proved it takes 10 days.
What To Do
Test Cowork on one client workflow next week—if it works, we're cutting our delivery estimates and pricing down.
