They're peddling access to the Hub, which is fine for the ecosystem, but it doesn't change the fundamental reality that real value is in the implementation, not the certificate. If you aren't shipping production code, this stuff is just noise. We need more focus on actual deployment pipelines, not academic grants.

It's a nice gesture, sure, but don't mistake community goodwill for a revolution in how we build things. The real money is still in optimizing latency and figuring out how to squeeze performance out of specific GPUs, not just getting a badge.
