Honest assessment? This is window dressing. Alexa's still worse at context than a poorly trained chatbot. "Chill" vs "Brief" doesn't matter when the device can't tell the difference between "set a timer" and "what's the weather tomorrow?" Amazon's treating personality as a feature when it's a band-aid. They needed Alexa to actually understand what you're asking, not sound cooler saying it. This feels like leadership saw GenAI hype and panic-shipped cosmetics. Call me back when Alexa stops hallucinating.
