↗What Happened
Adobe is also adding new AI-powered image-editing features to Firefly.
Our Take
Adobe already shipped generative fill. Wrapping it in an "AI assistant" label and selling it as news is peak Adobe.
Firefly's been in Photoshop for over a year. Adding a chatbot interface doesn't change anything—it's the same underlying tech. Adobe's just following every other company bolting AI into their product. It'll probably work fine, maybe useful, but don't mistake rebranding for innovation.
Wait for reviews before updating—Adobe's AI integrations usually need a patch cycle or two before they're stable.
What To Do
Hold off on updating until Adobe ships the first stability patch.
