AI isn't all or nothing, and even good bets can turn sour if you aren't careful about how you make them.

Our Take

"Good bets turn sour if you're not careful" is just saying "bet carefully"—not groundbreaking. The real issue: most AI bets are made by people who don't understand their business, only the hype. They're projecting adoption curves that don't exist.

AI isn't the problem. Cargo-cult investing is. Everyone copying Anthropic's playbook because it worked once doesn't make it work ten times.

What To Do

Ignore the narrative—focus on who's actually building profitable AI product, not raising Series D.
